Located: Non-distress located in a unlocked hanger at 37700 Astra Way #3 tail # N60FL. I found a CSP Officer, we entered the hanger secured the ELT at 2035. I left a note for the owner.

Monitor alerted 10:13 at APA (This time real sweep tones)
Located: While on foot working the ELT Ops let me know that they had a strong signal at Precision. They gave me a ride and the ELT was located there.

Intermittent ELT at APA: Continued until July 13, Started about June 23. Monitor did not repeat sweep tones.
Located: July 8, walked T-Hangars and located an ELT, carrier only at Hangar 29 C-31 weak signal (about 20 Microvolts). Problem continued. July 13 walked North T-Hangars, no Joy. Checked Jet Center West and picked up Carrier only to SW. Moved to tower parking and carrier only was NW. Located on Wings of Denver ramp 1000 microvolts, carrier only. Had to get within 1000 yards to pick up.

Located: The Forest Service Hanger on Beechcraft N127Z. Pilot reported he had just changed the battery. He was informed that the ELT had been running for two hours.

Located: ELT was located near T hangar entrance. ELT was activated by maintenance with owner working on the insterment panel. ELT could not be turned off (NARCO). Turned out that to reset NARCO ELT needed a battery disconnect to reset.

1839 APA monitor alerted. Shortly after noticed that ElDorado monitor had a different sweep rate. Two ELTs running at the same time.
Located: Jim Alsum located ELT at APA south of tower. Mark Sheets called that second ELT was turned off by pilot at FNL.

Lessons Learned: Pilot education can help eliminate non-distress ELT. Pilot at FNL had been instructed how to identify own ELT and turn off, then notify authority.
